We finally got our package for Molly out the door yesterday.  Hopefully it makes it there and hopefully before her birthday and Christmas for sure.  I hope she understands how much she is loved.  Oh how I wish the process didn't take so long.  We worked really hard to find things we thought would mean something to her.  Maddie and Macy were a big help.  If they loved it I figured Molly would too.  Melissa has told us so much about her so we tried to include things she would like.
Hopefully she gets this happy when she gets the package!
Here it is all ready to be shipped!

We made some fun necklaces for her.  If you click on the picture it should make it bigger so you can read them.  We have a few with the name Molly on them and just a few others we hope she likes.

We heard she liked mermaids and Maddie and Macy thought these looked a lot of fun.  Both wanted them too!

Maddie and Macy keep telling me I am too emotional because it was hard finding the perfect cards for her without tearing up.  It was hard but I found the perfect cards!

The birthday card was just perfect as well.  When you open it it plays music and below is a picture of the song it plays.  I love it!

Everything together.

A couple animals she liked and hopefully she likes them as much as her sisters.  The pig got a lot of loving before it was mailed.

She likes to fix hair so we found some pretty hair bows and rubber bands.
A frame family picture, minus her of course :( and some fuzzy warm socks with her favorite color, yellow!

Here is the photo album of family and the house.  I just made a small album so it was easy for her to hold and share.

I can not wait until she gets it and hope it is special for her.  It is so hard shopping for your child for birthday and Christmas and only being able to get enough to fit into a small box.  It just seems wrong.  But I guess atleast she knows she has a family coming for her!
Will update more later about the progress on the adoption, as slow as it is.

Home study

We have a visit today for our home study.  We actually have a current home study but need to have another visit so that it is appropriate for China (it is currently for a non hague country and China is hague).   Our SW is great so I don't think it will take her long to write it up.  Then we will move onto the I800A approval.  We also have current fingerprints so hopefully it will shorten the wait on that as well.  All this means is we need to get busy on more paperwork and our dossier because this could move quickly!  Just trying to take one to two steps at a time.  I also need to finish our gift box we are sending her and get that in the mail too!  It is fun picking out special things for her.  So excited that she can get something for us on her birthday and Christmas as well!

Isn't she just the cutest thing?!  We used to volunteer a ton at a local animal shelter.  We fostered so many kittens, a few puppies and some bunnies.  Then we started adopting children!  Life got busy and we ran out of time to help at the shelter.  We miss it though and Maddie was a big help and loved the animals.  From what we are learning about Hylah, she has the same love for animals.  My goal is to find time somehow to start volunteering again at least some and maybe foster animals again as well.  As if our 4 pets and 6 soon to be 7 children don't keep us busy enough that is!

There are so many wonderful people loving on and watching out for Hylah while she is in China.  I am so thankful for them and it makes the wait easier for us and I am sure for Hylah too!  So thankful that we will be able to meet them all soon!

We are adopting again!

We have started this blog so everyone can follow along our journey to bring Hylah home from China!  We adopted Mia from Hong Kong almost two years ago and Max came home from there 3 months ago.  Sometime next year we will be headed to China to bring home Hylah!  She is almost 9 years old and we can't wait for her to join our family.  She has been praying for a family for a long time and we are so thrilled to have been chosen to be her forever family!

We currently have 6 children at home.  Taylor is 18 and a senior,  Travis is 16 and a junior, Madison is almost 10 and in the 4th grade,  Macy is 7 and in 2nd grade,  Mia is almost 4 and going to preschool a couple days a week with Max who is 3.  Max and Mia are 8 months apart and both of them have Down Syndrome.  They have changed our lives forever and we are so very blessed to have them both.  They keep us busy but are so much fun.  Our adoption for Max won't be final until he has been home for 6 months so until then we aren't allowed to post pictures.  We will have to blur out his face until then :( so you will just have to take our word for it that he is totally adorable!
I will try to post a page for each of them about their adoptions when I get a chance.

I also have a page with name puzzles that I make and am selling to help pay adoption fees.  We love to make crafts when we can find the time so I will post any of them we have to sell as well.  Having three adoptions so close together and living with two 3 year olds keeps me busy though so I don't have as much time as I could use!

I will work on adding pictures and our story of how God lead us to this beautiful girl in China!
