LOA

We finally got our LOA for Molly and Meilin!  Basically it means China has officially approved us to adopt both of them!  There are several more steps to come but they should take less than 3 months.  In 3 months I will be able to hold both girls in my arms!  We are beyond excited.  I know 3 months seems like awhile yet but with summer almost over and school starting back up, I am pretty sure time will fly by now.  Each step is only a few weeks long so we can continue to see progress!

Well you get the idea!  We got LOA for 2 girls!!!!!

Waiting

and waiting and waiting and waiting.  I am ready to move this adoption along already!  The next time Molly asks when her mom is coming and take her to America I want someone to be able to tell her soon and mean it!  Keep praying for the process to get straightened out so we can get on a plane and bring our girls home!

Summer has been busy chasing the kids around.  Unfortunately no news on the adoption.  It is getting hard now.  We had hoped when we started to have the girls home by now.  Then we thought Sept was realistic. Now I have no idea when we will go.  That makes it hard.  If I had an end in site it would be easier but I don't,  There are issues processing LOA's and none have been issued for families adopting two children.  What this means is our girls are stuck in China until it is figured out.  That is hard.  We need everyone to pray they figure it out and our LOA is on top of the list to approve.  We are ready to bring our girls home and I know they are ready to come home.

Here are so pictures of what is keeping us busy while we wait!

Max seeing which salad dressing he wants while eating a bag of shredded cheese.

Larry wouldn't put Mia in the jeep because she was wet.  So, Mia go the wagon and climbed on in herself!  She is the best problem solver.

Macy had her summer come to a sudden stop when she got her tonsils out on Monday.  No fun at all :(

Max thinks he needs to feed the dogs, and now he does the same with the cats.  Not helping!

Still working on selling rest of the Fiesta Ware!

Macy the mermaid.

Lots of snuggle time

Max doesn't need help getting applesauce, he figured it out himself.

Macy's countdown.

Mia loves corn on the cob.

Max chose the butter.........ew!

That is all so far.  Nothing new on the girls :(  School will be starting soon so time is going to fly by.  Again, please pray that the paperwork gets figured out.  We are on a step that used to take 30-60 days just a few months ago.  We are at 83 days with no end in site.  There are many families that are way over 100 days.  For now I just need a break from the computer.  It doesn't seem to help so I will just enjoy the kids at home, pray for our girls in China and keep waiting to hear good news from our agency.

We have been blessed with some very generous donations.  I don't get thank you's out as soon as I should but we appreciate it all so much.  It is just amazing how God has provided for us with this adoption.  It is looking like when the call does come, we should be fully funded.  Money will not stand in the way of us getting our girls.  Last November when we started this process we had no idea how we would pay for it all.  We hadn't saved anything.   What an incredible leap of Faith!

Fun Weekend!

We spend so much time and energy on the adoption that we finally took the last week to enjoy the summer.  We had fun going to parks, riding four wheelers, and meeting up with good friends.  Here are a few pictures of a little of the fun!

We are still waiting for LOA.  I suppose every day we are a day closer!  Still praying it comes soon.  We have been blessed the last week with some wonderful and generous donations towards our adoption.   Our FSP total should be on the rise this weeks.  I really get the feeling we are getting closer to going.  I am starting to be at peace with leaving the little ones behind.  That is going to be so hard but a small amount of time in the grand scheme of things.

I still have a lot more fiesta ware dishes to sell and I think if I make some progress on that it will get us really close to the amount we need to head to China!  Please keep praying for the process to speed up so we can bring them home so they can enjoy these fun days with us!  Wherever we go and whatever we do this summer and piece of my heart feels empty because Molly and Meilin aren't here to enjoy it with us!
